Ridin’ for God’s Brand
I used to train horses just to earn my pay,
Fixin’ fence lines and bailin’ hay.
But somewhere between the sweat and the dust,
I found a Savior I could truly trust.
Now I ain’t just breakin’ colts or mendin’ wire,
I’m ridin’ for Jesus, lit with holy fire.
Every hoofbeat’s a prayer, every post I set,
Is a chance to serve the Lord with no regret.
I’ve seen wild hearts settle when grace takes hold,
Like a bronc gone gentle in the Shepherd’s fold.
And when I’m sore from the work and the weight,
I lean on the One who carries my fate.
I ain’t perfect, but I’m branded by grace,
Marked by the mercy I didn’t chase.
I ride for the King who knows my name,
Who walks the pasture and stakes His claim.
So if you ask who I ride for today,
It ain’t just the ranch or the horse I train—
It’s the Carpenter’s Son with nail-scarred hands,
Who called me to ride for God’s own brand.
